FAQs
IS OUR DAILY NAKED COLLAGEN GRASSFED?
The short answer is no, we cannot guarantee the cows were 100% grass fed all year round.
The cows that are used to produce the collagen are predominantly fed on grass for the majority of the year, i.e. pasture raised, however, here at Be. Collagen and along with our Manufacture, we are more concerned about animal welfare and being responsibly fed, rather than ensuring we can make a grass fed claim. So, at times of the year where the grass is not plentiful enough (i.e. winter where there is frost and snow) to keep them happy and sustained, they can be fed a supplemented diet. We feel that from an animal welfare perspective, this is the right choice.
We further do not make grass fed claims as we have no verification system in place to ensure that it would be true and correct for every batch.
Where is the Collagen and other ingredients sourced from?
To ensure our Manufacture can keep ingredients as much of the time as possible, it can change between batches, however the collagen we source is generally from Germany, France, Thailand or China.
